Infocomm offers 'Light a Candle' service

Mobile service provider Reliance Infocomm on Saturday said it has launched a special service, through which subscribers of Reliance IndiaMobile can light a candle at Velankani Church in Tamil Nadu on the occasion of Christmas, using its R World applications.

The company has introduced special Christmas Zone on R World. For using this service, the subscriber would have to type his name in the 'LightCandle' service in the zone and the candle would be lit in the Velankani Church on his behalf, a company release said.

The request for a candle to be lit at Velankanni would cost Rs 10, it added.
