Having ended a bitter feud with elder brother Mukesh over control of the Rs 100,000 crore (Rs 1000 billion) Reliance empire, Anil Ambani, has embarked on a pilgrimage.
The 46-year-old business tycoon, who now owns Reliance Energy, Reliance Capital and Reliance Infocomm, on Friday visited the Kedarnath shrine of Lord Shiva, one of the 12 'jyotirlingams' in the country, along with his wife Tina.
On Thursday, he had paid obeisance to Lord Bhole Nath in Amarnath in Jammu and Kashmir and also visited the Vaishnodevi shrine.
In the evening, he offered prayers at the Lord Vishnu temple in Badrinath. Immediately after a settlement was reached between the two brothers last week, Anil left for the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirupati.
Anil left Kedarnath for Mumbai, where he is expected to take charge of Reliance Infocomm, the telecommunications company, which functions out of Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City.
