Reliance Info rolls out festive deal

Reliance Infocomm is again targeting festive season to bring subscribers under its fold. Unlike its earlier offerings, the new offer for Divali festivities under 'RIM Celebrations' will give away prizes worth Rs 10 crore (Rs 100 million) on the basis of daily, weekly lucky draws to every new subscriber for a period of one month beginning October 16.

S P Shukla, president, wireless - products & services, said, "As leaders of the mobility segment in India we wish to light up the lives of lakhs of mobile subscribers and make the Divali festival even more joyful and festive for customers and families alike."

The prizes include the bumper offer of Chevrolet Optra car, Samsung Plano 34 TVs, Zenith computers and 1.5 tonne Videocon Air Conditioners, four weekly draws have provisions for Videocon consumer durables including TVs, automatic washing machines, refrigerators, 1.5 tonne air conditioners and a host of RIM accessories, according to a press release.

Winners of daily draws will be given USA/Canada vouchers, which allow 51minutes of calls to USA (excepting Alaska and Hawaii) and Canada from their new Reliance IndiaMobile phones.

Besides the lucky draws, there are assured rewards for all new Reliance IndiaMobile subscribers enrolling during this offer period that will entitle them to enjoy the benefits of the free talk scheme, which has specially been extended for the festive occasion, the release added.

The free talk scheme includes free unlimited local calls between two RIM numbers for 10 months, free domestic SMS (up to 10,000) for two months and free local calls at night to CDMA mobile phones.

The wireless in local loop service of Reliance Infocomm is currently available in more than 480 cities. It will soon be available in 693 towns and cities across the country.
