Britannia Q3 net up 7% to Rs 27 crore

Britannia Industries Ltd on Saturday reported a 6.77 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 26.8 crore (Rs 268 million) for the third quarter as against Rs 25.1 crore (Rs 251 million) in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

The company also reported sales of Rs 368 crore (Rs 3,680 million) for the third quarter, an increase of 10.84 per cent over Rs 332 crore (Rs 3,320 million) in the third quarter in 2002, a Britannia statement said in Bangalore.
