RCom will use Motricity's m-Core platform to deliver advanced services and applications on its 3G, GSM and CDMA mobile platforms.
"We believe the future of mobile experiences is going to be based on the delivery of highly personalised offerings which include localised content, delivered to our customers in their native language," said RCom's 3G Business Head Prashant Gokarn in a statement.
"Motricity's mCore Platform provides us the scale and the capabilities we need to deliver on this vision," said Gokarn.
RCom intends to offer a new multi-lingual R-World that will offer personalisation option in Hindi, followed by other regional languages.
R-World has been designed to deliver content and applications on the mobile platform.
RCom will offer location-based services that help mobile subscribers find places they are looking for in the area they are in, or passing through, at any given time.
