Quantech kicks off sales efforts in India

US-based Quantech Global Services Limited, an automotive design, analysis and engineering company, has started sales operations in India.

The company, which has two Asian Technical Center facilities, one in Hyderabad and the other at Bangalore, expects to offer its services to the potential demand that will arise from the growing presence of multinational automobile companies in India.

Speaking to Business Standard, Mukesh Gandhi, chief executive officer of Quantech, said that the company hoped to leverage on its existing relationships with global automobile majors in its operations in India.

"The Indian market is one of the fastest growing in Asia and we expect it to play a bigger and bigger role in the future and hence it is important that we start operations now," Gandhi said.

The company has already announced plans to invest $ 5 million for its expansion that include building new facilities and adding up 500 more engineers in India.
