The Chennai-based Polaris Software Lab Tuesday said it is hopeful of an early release of its CEO Arun Jain who was 'detained' on Friday in Jakarta in connection with a commercial dispute.
"All efforts are being taken to get Jain released at the earliest inclusive of seeking legal remdies," Raghuraman Balakrishnan, vice president of the company said.
He said a battery of lawyers in Indonesia was presently working on the legal moves to be made while the external affairs ministry, the IT ministry and the Indian embassy in Indonesia were also seriously engaged in securing the release of Jain.
Arun Jain and his team of executives traveled to Jakarta to resolve some commercial issues linked to a software development project for Bank of Artha Graha when he was 'detained.'
