Planet Retail was set to bring Monsoon, the UK-based high street fashion brand, popular for its 'boho chic' (bohemian) fashion, to India soon, said two sources privy to the development.
Planet Retail is owned by non-resident Indian V P Sharma and Samsonite's Ramesh Tainwala.

The 39-year-old brand, set up by Peter Simon, is known for casual wear targeted at young women.
Planet Retail plans to set up a couple of standalone 1,500-3,000 sq ft stores in metros and shop-in-shops in large Planet Retail-run stores, the sources said.
