Onboard the world's biggest cruise ship

The world’s largest cruise ship, Harmony of the Seas, is all set for its maiden voyage.

Royal Caribbean's newest ship will begin its first journey from Southampton, England on May 22.

Here’s a look at the amazing facts about the mighty ship…

The mighty ship weighs 227,000 gross registered tons, has a passenger capacity of 6,780 guests and 2,100 crew members.

With 23 swimming pools, the ship will offer much excitement for swimmers.

In a first, the ship will have robot bartenders who can mix 1,000 drinks a day.

The 362-metre-long ship ‘Harmony of the Seas’ cost a whopping $1 billion.

Believe it or not, it is taller than the Eiffel Tower and has 2,500 state rooms.

That’s not all - 20 restaurants, 24 lifts for guests, double-storey wonderland specialty restaurant make it a paradise on the seas.

A park in the centre of the ship has more 10,000 plants and 50 trees.

For adventure lovers, the tallest slide gives guests a 30 metre drop, making it the tallest slide at sea.

With 11,252 works of art on display, it is a floating art museum too.

It houses a 1,400-seat Royal Theatre for Broadway-style shows.

Interestingly, ArcelorMittal provided the steel used in construction of this ship. It took two and a half years to build this wonderful ship.
