5 exciting cars coming to India soon

The year 2015 started on a happy note with a plethora of car launches in India.

While daily commuters appealed Indian customers to a great extent, the high-end performance cars too kept their charisma intact among the elite masses.

And now to shower more love to customers here, many carmakers are gearing up to launch a number of thrilling cars within a year that will make your eyes wide open.

Below is the list of some of the upcoming high-end cars.

Ford Mustang

The US auto giant Ford works on a global ‘One Ford Plan’ i.e. it follows the single global vehicle launch strategy for the whole world.

And working on the same ideology, the automaker is now finally introducing the iconic car- Mustang in the Indian market.

From the outer sharpness to the recital approach, Mustang is vehicle meant to stimulate the ecstasy of auto buffs.

On the outer side, the vehicle adopts the same inclined fastback method with a long hood giving it a lively appeal and the sloped down nose with insistent headlamps cluster, give a daring call.  

On the inner front, the car gets symmetrical dashboard adorned with retro touch in the form of toggle-switch-like buttons and round A/C louvers.
Mechanically, the Ford car is housed with Indian friendly power mill. Most likely, it will be a 2.3 liter EcoBoost competent to make out maximum power output of 310bhp and peak torque of 433Nm.

There are also possibilities of V6 and V8 powertrains coming in the car. The vehicle is expected to be rolled out in the month of November 2015. 


Mercedes-Benz AMG-GT


The prime opponent of Porsche 911, this Merc vehicle is likely to make its Indian debut in early 2016.

Carrying both feminine looks and manly power inside, the AMG-GT will actually remind the aircraft feeling inside.

The energy to run will come from 4.0 liter V8 engine, which can churn out peak power output of 502 bhp and max torque of 620 Nm. Some mechanical tweaks in this Merc car are notable.

Gearbox in the vehicle is cited on the rear axle, thereby getting near 50:50 weight-distributions is possible.

Inside the cabin, you will see a list of upmarket features like a central tunnel with an inventive touchpad, a superior driver information cluster and racing seats. 

Jaguar XE

The Tata owned British auto giant is in full mood to fight against the top luxury leaders BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and Merc’s C-Class and that is why it is planning to launch XE in the country.

Featuring the same Jaguar signature styling cues including large wheels, subtle headlamps and gaping front grille, the baby car gives luxury and premium appeal.

Inside the cabin, the touches of XJ- the elder sibling can be seen in dashboard design. Under the hood, XE is packed with newly developed 2.0-litre i4 diesel mill, which can belt out around 177 bhp of power and 430 Nm torque.

Audi Q7

The launch of next generation Q7 in India has been a long talk. The German automaker will bring this car into India in November 2016.

It is pretty known fact that Audi has worked on this vehicle to reduce its weight around 325 kg and increase 26% more efficiency than the ongoing model.

On the design front, Q7 will sport new single-frame front grille wrapped with the fresh DRL setup and adaptive headlamps.

The rear of the car looks more or less similar to the present model, but the style has surely been upped in this new car.

As per the mechanism under the hood, the car will come with updated 3.0 liter TDI V6 engine that is capable of generating 272hp and 600Nm of max torque. 

Jeep Grand Cherokee

The premium American SUV Cherokee has been the much-awaited vehicle in the country and now it is finally making its way to India.

To be launched in later part of this year, Jeep Grand Cherokee features off roads capacities and manly appearance. The front grille with seven slats and delimited by projected headlamps gives a bold appeal.

Inside, there is a boxy occupant cabin that adds to the demeanour. Under the hood, 3.0 liter V6 engine could be powering the car generating 240hp and 570Nm of max torque. The vehicle will possibly be offered with 4x2 and 4x4 options to choose from.
