Bored of living in your palatial bungalows and posh apartments and want something unique? Cheer up as you may soon have the option of 'buying' a house on the seas.

A leading hotel chain has announced the sales launch of the residential vessel, offering 112 fully owned private homes with options of one to four bedrooms.

With the price tag starting at a whooping $3.8 million, the 48,600-ton, 719-foot luxury vessel, the 'Four Seasons Ocean Residence,' will feature almost all amenities and luxuries that one can think of.

Promoted by BV International Ocean Holdings Ltd., a joint venture between Bayview Financial and Ocean Development Group, both US-based companies, 'Four Seasons Ocean Residence' claims it will provide owners with an unparalleled home and travel lifestyle, according to a AsiaNet press release.

Fully furnished residences and penthouses ranging in size from 800 to over 7,000 square feet, include floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious living room areas with sea views, master bedroom suites with walk-in dressing rooms and ensuite bathrooms, expansive terraces, walk-in closets, a full-size gourmet kitchen, and a private entrance for staff.

Each Four Seasons residence will also feature a gracious entry hall that opens into the living space. It has 70,000 square feet of public space.

The ship also promises an array of onboard activities and entertainment, including a 11,000-square-foot spa and fitness facility, a European-styled shopping area, a gourmet market, a state-of-the-art business centre, a wine cellar, helipad, putting greens, and driving range.

It will also have provisions for ship-to-shore service, scuba expeditions, and a launch for jet skis or sailboats.
