Pak biz team arrives on Oct 6

A high level Pakistani delegation consisting of management gurus and representatives of major companies will take part in the first ever Indo-Pak HR Partnership Summit to be held in New DelhiĀ from Thursday.

The two-day partnership summit is being jointly organised by the Delhi Management Association and Islamabad HR Foundation, a DMA release said in New Delhi on Tuesday.

"The summit is an attempt to bring human resource professionals and business leaders from both the countries on a common platform to network, share valuable learning and to address key issues that affect the business domains in both the countries," the release said.

The summit would be inaugurated by the former Prime Minister I K Gujral along with Hero Honda chairman Brij Mohan Munjal.

The 12-member Pakistani team includes World Bank HR manager Qamar Mutaqi, HR Foundation Pakistan vice president Sajid Razvi, Mobilink HR director Sardar Khalid and Pakistan Tobacco Company IT director Feroze Ahmed, the release said.
