Outlook to license Time Inc's People in India

The Outlook Group and the United States-based publishing company Time Inc plan to launch the popular People magazine in India in 2008.

People revolutionised personality journalism in 1974 and is today one of the world's most popular and successful magazines. Every week the People brand reaches 43 million readers with the latest news, exclusive interviews and in-depth reporting on the most compelling people of our time.  People.com is the premier Web destination for celebrity news, photos, style and entertainment coverage.

Under license, Time Inc. publishes 39 editions available in more than 19 countries. The titles include: Fortune, Golf, In Style, People, Real Simple, Sports Illustrated, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Time and Time for Kids.
