New Zealand opens 5 visa centres in India

New Zealand Immigration Service, the authorised body for issuing visas for New Zealand, on Thursday opened visa collection centres in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi.

Announcing the launch of the services, Simon Smith, first secretary (immigration), NZIS said, "We are pleased to offer this new service to the Indian traveler to New Zealand that will ease the process of visa application."

Tony Everitt, regional manager (Asia), Tourism New Zealand, said, "Facilitating visa services will make New Zealand a more attractive destination for Indian travelers."

TT Services, a division of TT Enterprises Pvt Ltd, will manage the visa collection centres, according to release issued by NZIS in Mumbai.

The centres will offer services including the collection of visa application documents and verification of the documents, it added.

The applications and encrypted data will be sent in a secured manner to the NZIS office, it said, adding the processed applications collected from NZIS will be dispatched directly to the applicant's address.
