Cyprus Co plans to buy 8% in NDTV

New Delhi Television Ltd on Tuesday said Cyprus-based GA European Investments has proposed to acquire 7.95 per cent stake in the company held by Shyam Cellular Infrastructure Projects Ltd.

GA European Investments is proposing to acquire 48.36 lakh equity shares of NDTV from Shyam Cellular Infrastructure Projects, which constitutes 7.95 per cent of the issued and paid up equity share capital of NDTV, it informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The acquisition is subject to the receipt of requisite approvals from government authorities in India.
