Chief mentor of Infosys Technologies N R Narayan Murthy and former chairman of Oil and Natural Gas Corp Subir Raha have been adjudged winners of Priyadarshni Academy award for their outstanding contribution to the information technology sector and public service respectively.
The biennial awards would be presented at the 22nd anniversary global awards function of the Priyadarshni Academy to be held on September 19 in Mumbai, its chairman Nanik Rupani said in a release on Thursday.
On the occasion, several other dignitaries would also be honoured for their contribution in various spheres of activities on a global scale, it added.
The Priyadarshni Academy, a prominent non-government organisation, had instituted the biennial awards in 1984.
