Rupert Murdoch bereaved

Media magnate Rupert Murdoch's sister Helen Handbury died of cancer on Monday at her home in Hanbury, Australia, said newspapers. She was 75.

She was the eldest of the four Murdoch siblings. She and her husband were honoured with the Order of Australia medal for service to the community.

Her three sons -- Matt, Paul and Paddy -- and daughter Judy were with her when the end came. She is survived by her husband Geoff, her mother Dame Elisabeth Murdoch, brother Rupert, and sisters Anne Kantor and Janet Calvert-Jones.
