Hyderabad-based JP Mobile, provider of enterprise mobile messaging and security software, on Thursday announced its partnership with Microsoft to expand the capabilities and service offerings of hosted exchange service providers.
J P Mobile's SureWave Mobile Connect is a hosted, subscription-based, wireless e-mail service for Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003.
"Mobile professionals can be up and running in minutes, eliminating the need to purchase an enterprise server, integrate software and provision each and every wireless device. Cost and complexity is greatly reduced," a press release said.
"Equipping small and medium business with a simple way to get mobile access to their calender, contacts and e-mail will definitely broaden the appeal of our hosting partner's Hosted Exchange Service," said Morgan Cole, product manager for Microsoft's Solution for hosted messaging and collaboration.
"By partnering with J P Mobile, we can help service providers enhance the value and increase the bottomline benefits of their hosted services," he added.
