Consign Technology on Wednesday launched its multi-platform application development tool for mobile, handheld and wireless devices.
The tool -- GoDB IDE (Integrated Development Engine) version 3.4 -- would enable the development of applications on a range of hardware platforms and operating systems, the Bangalore-based Consign Technology managing director Raja Raman told reporters in Bangalore.
The five-year-old Consign is a privately held firm with funding from Intel Capital and is setting up infrastructure for online sales and support, besides opening marketing offices in the United States and Britain.
Consign marketing director Mahavir Chand said the target segment for the new tool included enterprises, software product firms and independent software vendors.
