MMTC recorded a sale of jewellery worth about Rs 15 crore (Rs 150 million) at its recently concluded 'Festival of Gold'.

Buoyed by the turnover at the week-long gold festival, which ended on October 24, the company is now planning to set up its second showroom in the capital, MMTC chief managing director S D Kapoor said.

"Just after the gold festival, MMTC will offer a common platform for the customers to choose from the hallmarked jewellery and silverware through our Diwali Sanchi & Medallion sale," he said.

The sale would commence from November 1 to 11 at all the major MMTC outlets in Delhi.
