MindShare India, one of the largest media agency networks, is restructuring its management.

Gowthaman is general manager, MindShare Fulcrum, the dedicated unit for Hindustan Lever Ltd's media buying unit. Sunder Raman, general manager, Delhi, Mindshare has been appointed managing director, MindShare, North and East.

This follows appointment of Ashutosh Srivastava as CEO of MindShare Asia Pacific. Srivsatava was CEO of GroupM South Asia. Vikram Sakhuja, MD, MindShare South Asia, is being promoted to GroupM CEO India and COO South Asia.

This, in effect, changes the structure of MindShare, putting the era of one MD for the entire India operations to an end.

This time round, MindShare will have two MD's who will handle separate regions. M Suku, head of Broadmind India, the sports, entertainment and promotions unit of MindShare, will now head Broadmind, Asia Pacific, and will be based in Singapore.

Stepping into Suku's boots is Hiren Pandit, general manager, Mumbai, MindShare, who will head Broadmind in India. Srivastava and Sakhuja were integral in establishing MindShare in South Asia in January 2002.

Srivastava was MD for MindShare India till 2004, after which he went on to become CEO for GroupM South Asia post the elevation of Andre Nair as chairman and CEO of Mediaedge:cia

Sakhuja was MD of MindShare Fulcrum till 2004, after which he took over from Srivastava as CEO of MindShare India.
