DaimlerChrysler India on Wednesday announced the launch of a more powerful version of the Mercedes C-class to further boost sales of the luxury car.

The latest 'C 220 CDI' features common-rail direct injection diesel engine and has over 80 components for higher torque, power output, fuel consumption, lower emission and higher comfort, a company release said.
