Infrastructure firm GMR Infra's IPO opened on Monday. The issue has been subscribed 1.3 times.
Nimesh Kampani of JM Morgan Stanley believes that a good quality IPO would always get a response from investors.
In case of GMR, Kampani feels that it was very friendly to its investors, inspite of its book being three times high-end of pricing at Rs 250. Now they have finally priced it at Rs 210 in favour of its investors.
Kampani further adds though the market conditions were bad at that time, the market has now gone up by about 1000 points after the issue had been made.
So on an overall basis, Kampani feels that on a long term basis, GMR Infrastructure is a good investment bet.
He adds that the infrastructure sector has huge potential in this country with concentration on airport, power and road projects.
