MBT to recruit 2000 more

Mahindra British Telecom is planning to recruit an additional 2,000 workers over the next 12 months on expectations of a rapid growth in industry.

The company plans to add over 2,000 professionals to the current base of 4,000, an MBT release said in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, MBT has appointed Girish Karnad as head (global recruitment function), and Debi Prasad Das as group head (human resources), Pune.

MBT is the telecom software joint venture between Mahindra Group and British Telecommunications Plc.
