Select markets closed on Friday

The interbank foreign exchange (forex), call money markets, cotton, metals, sugar and future trading in castor seeds will remained officially closed on Friday on the occasion of Ramnavami.

However, the Bombay Stock Exchange, the National Stock Exchange, the bullion and spot edible oil markets will function as usual.
