Chandrasekaran, executive VP, TCS and Atul Vashistha, CEO, neoIT, an offshoring consultancy firm, are among the 25 people who have been named by the Consulting Magazine as industry's 'Top 25 Most Influential Consultants 2006.'

According to a statement from neoIT, in 2004, Vashistha was named in the Magazine's top 'IT Power  Brokers' list.

"Atul has emerged as both a change agent and firm builder inside one of the consulting world's most volatile chapters," commented Jack Sweeney, said the Magazine's editor-in-chief.

Consulting Magazine, published by Kennedy Information Systems, is the flagship publication of the consulting profession, featuring information on consulting careers, thought leadership and corporate strategies.

"To be recognised as one the leaders in the consulting industry by the Consulting Magazine is an indicator of the thought leadership and client impact that our team at neoIT has been able to achieve," said Atul Vashistha, neoIT CEO.

Each of the top 25 consultants, who were selected from a list of several hundred consultant nominees from around the world, is profiled in this month's issue.

Besides Chandrasekaran and Vashistha, consultants from Deloitte, McKinsey, BearingPoint, Boston Consulting Group, Unisys Corp, Booz Allen Hamilton, IBM, Accenture, Bain & Company figure in the list.
