USIBC award for GE

GE Chairman Jeffrey R Immelt receiving the USIBC award from USIBC Chairman Rajat Gupta.The United States India Business Council has conferred the USIBC 30th anniversary jubilee award for 'The US Company Contributing Most to the Indo-US Commercial Relationship' on US giant General Electric.

The USIBC award acknowledges GE's contribution to the Indo-US commercial partnership that the two countries share today and the strong confidence and commitment that GE has shown to India over the last several years.

Jeffrey R Immelt, Chairman and CEO, GE received the award from Rajat Gupta, Senior Partner Worldwide, McKinsey & Co and Chairman of USIBC. Scott R Bayman, President & CEO, GE India was also present on the occasion.

Global GE Businesses that have a presence in India are GE Advanced Materials, GE Commercial Finance, GE Money, GE Consumer & Industrial, GE Energy, GE Healthcare, GE Infrastructure, GE Transportation and NBC Universal.
