Audi A6 is here @ Rs 42.5 lakh!

Audi, the German luxury car major, unleashed the Audi A6 in Mumbai on Tuesday. The A6, which has been dubbed 'World Car of the Year' will be available in India at a stunning price of Rs 42.5 lakh (Rs 4.25 million).

The A6 will be imported via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route from Germany and would be priced at Rs 42.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), according to Michael Weber, Country Manager, India, Audi.

The latest car from the Audi stable, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, the A6 will be available in a 3-litre multitronic engine with front wheel drive. The car will give 218 horsepower at 6,300 rpm, and a maximum torque of 290 nm at 3200 rpm. The car's top speed is 240 kmph.

Audi has already sold over one million A6s globally, said Weber.
