Mercedes SLK 350 @ Rs 56 lakh!

The breathtaking Mercedes Benz SLK 350 is here! And it you plan to buy it, it will leave your wallet lighter by Rs 56 lakh (Rs 5.6 million), ex-showroom Mumbai!

The sporty and compact Mercedes-Benz SLK 350 delivers 272 horsepower from its V6 engine. It features variable camshaft control and other technological enhancements to make it more fuel-efficient and powerful.

Its maximum torque output is reached at a low 2,400 rpm and remains strong through 5,000 rpm. Mercedes claims that the SLK 350 will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in about 5.5 seconds, with its automatic one-of- a kind 7G tronic transmission.

Those who wish for more involvement in gear selection can choose to equip the Mercedes SLK 350 with buttons on the steering wheel for more convenient manual shifting. Seventeen-inch wheels are likely to be standard, with 18-inch wheels possibly bundled with a sport suspension option.

The Mercedes-Benz SLK 350 contains a rack-and-pinion steering system that replaces the old recirculating-ball unit for more responsiveness. Also standard is a larger and more effective braking system, and a new multi-link four-wheel-independent suspension with available sport tuning.
