LML rolls out 3 motorcycles

May 14, 2004 16:52 IST

Two-wheeler maker LML on Friday launched two motorcycles and one variant in three different segments to boost sales and diversify the product portfolio.

The 150cc Graptor, 125cc Freedom Prima and 110cc Freedom Prima110 have been priced at Rs 49,500, Rs 45,000 and Rs 41,130 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Freedom Prima110 is a new version of the existing Freedom.

"LML had begun to be called a one product wonder. With the three products, we shall dispel all such notions," Deepak Singhania, managing director, LML, said in a statement.

The company had been facing severe capacity constraints, lacking a diversified product basket, which it had been working to overcome, he said.

The Freedom Prima125cc comes with both four and five gears with optional disc brakes.

LML had strategically placed two motorcycles in the commuter segment with two engine configurations -- 110cc and 125cc -- while Graptor would cater to the premium segment, Singhania said.
