A Delhi court on Wednesday remanded Kuber group chief Pradyumna Kumar Sharma to judicial custody for 14 days after the proclaimed offender, wanted in cases of cheating, was produced before it.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate J P S Malik rejected Sharma's bail plea and sent him to judicial custody till May 21.
The accused, a proclaimed offender for last one year, was arrested by police at Greater Kailash and produced before the court. He had been framed by the Registrar of Companies as his group had not filed the returns violating the provisions of the Companies Act.
The court also directed the investigation officer to produce the Kuber group head before Metropolitan Magistrate M C Gupta at Patiala House courts in New Delhi in connection with a cheating case filed by the crime branch.
