US company to invest $4 million in Kerala

Infovista Technology Solutions, a top-end United States-based information technology company, will invest $4 million in the Infopark Technology park at Kakkanadu near Kochi over a period of five years.

ITS, a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of the California-based Infovista Technology, a leading software development and business process outsourcing solutions provider, concluded the agreement on the sidelines of the Gitex 2004 in Dubai, K G Girish Babu, chief executive officer, Inforpark, said.

The company intends to make an initial investment of $200,000 for the next quarter (of this year) towards their centre to be located at Inforpark, the largest information technology park in India, Samir Rahman, president, Infovista Technology, said.

Infovista's planned global delivery centre at Kochi will have the capability to serve businesses and offices in the US and also in the Middle East and Australia.
