The ITC Maurya Shereton-owned Bukhara has been voted among top 50 restaurants in the world and best in Asia by UK-based 'Restaurant' magazine.

Each year the magazine nominates 50 finest restaurants across the globe based on parameters like taste, service and style and the list is compiled by a group of prominent food writers.

Bukhara's menu has not been changed or added to in the last 26 years since it opened in 1988. In 2006 also, the restaurant was a part of the top 50 list and is also mentioned by Patricia Schultz in the book '1,000 Places To See Before You Die', a company statement said.

The awards were announced recently at the Science Museum in London.
