New Delhi will soon host a workshop on technology-aided decision making, iDecision, being organised by the International Management Institute in partnership with Microsoft Corporation and Liqvid E-learning Services Pvt Ltd.
The workshop is designed to help executives, managers, supervisors, team leaders and professionals adopt a structured and systematic process to make the right decisions when faced with critical business choices and sharp deadlines.
It will be a complete hands-on workshop using a mix of e-learning, online instruction, simulations, software tools, instructor support and live classroom-based training.
The participants at iDecision will receive a training kit, software tools and a certificate.
Spread over a total of eight days, the workshop will include two days of full-time classroom-based training and six days of Internet-based training.
The first stage of the workshop will be a one-day interactive classroom-based session that will introduce participants to the use of technology in decision making, take them through the steps of creating and implementing a decision model and provide an exposure to online decision-making simulation.
In the next stage, participants will undergo a six-day Internet-based session with an online instructor.
The final stage will be a one-day, classroom-based session that will discuss technology-aided decision-making models created by the participants.
