Infosys Technologies' global head of human resources Hema Ravichander has put in her papers. This was Ravichander's second stint at the Bangalore-headquartered Infosys where she was designated as Group Head and Senior Vice-President.

Confirming the development Infosys said that Ravichander had resigned and would leave the services of the organisation over the next couple of months.

Ravichander is expected to look at options which could include emerging opportunities in the consultancy space, after having spent close to a decade with one of India's most admired companies.

Ravichander was responsible for the overall aspects of human resources development at Infosys and for the Infosys group companies across the globe.

Ravichander had joined Infosys during the mid-nineties when the organisation was just starting to make its presence felt in the global markets and had on its roster a couple of thousand employees.
