Convention on bridging Indo-US economy

 About 200 industrial and investor delegates from the United States and India will participate in a national seminar on ‘Bridging Economy Between India and US' in New Delhi on January 7.

Organised by the National Federation of Indian-American Associations, the seminar will specially focus on foreign direct investment from the US in various infrastructure facilities to be provided in India in collaboration with organisations in housing, healthcare, industry, power, telecom, IT and tourism, NFIA President Niraj P Baxi said.

Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Member of Parliament Dr L M Singhvi and Deputy Chief of Mission, U S Embassy Albert Thibault are scheduled to address the delegates.

NFIA consists of several large organisations with sizeable membership. It provides strong support for some of the community-oriented activities, Baxi said.
