India's services exports in December stood at $12.87 billion, slightly higher from a month earlier, according to the Reserve Bank data released.
Services exports were worth at $12.32 billion in November. Imports of services during the month also moved up slightly to $6.73 billion from $6.12 billion in the previous month.
The services sector contributes about 55 per cent to the country's gross domestic product.
During April-October period, services exports were worth $113.28 billion.
Total services imports stood at $59.92 billion during the first eight months of the current financial year.
RBI releases the provisional aggregate monthly data on India's international trade in services with a lag of 45 days.
Monthly data on services are provisional and undergoes revision when the Balance of Payments (BoP) data are released on a quarterly basis.
