Riding high on the international hospitality wave, India has once again figured in the list of world's best small luxury hotels with Jaipur's Raj Palace becoming the sixth hotel to enter the coveted group.
Kumarakom Lake Resort in Kerala, The Amarvilas in Agra and Rajvilas, Udaivilas and Vanyavilas in Rajathan are already part of the bouquet.
"We have extended our offering in a culturally rich and sought after location with the addition of Raj Palace," Small Luxury Hotels of the World joint managing director Paul Kerr said in a statement.
SLHs of the world is a collection of over 400 independent hotels in more than 65 countries.
In 2006, total reservations at SLH hotels grew by 16 per cent over 2005 while revenue per room increased by 15 per cent, the statement said.
