Hero Honda chairman B M Munjal on Tuesday said the five-day strike at the Gurgaon plant will not have an impact on the company's profitability and sales.
"There will be no impact on profitability and sales and we are confident to make up for the production loss," Munjal said on the sidelines of the annual session of CII.
He said while the company was still negotiating with the contractual workers, production has started at the Gurgaon plant.
"We are producing about 6,000 vehicles daily and will recover the loss of production of five days soon," he said.
He said, "no agreement has been arrived at" with the workers. "There has been a verbal assurance and now we will stick together to find a favourable solution for all," Munjal said adding that this could also include regularisation of some of the contract workers.
