Honda Siel sales surge 58% in November

Honda Siel Cars India on Tuesday reported an impressive 58.5 per cent per cent sales growth to 1,827 units in November 2003 over 1,152 units in the same month last year.

The cumulative (April-November 2003) sales also grew by 19.2 per cent to 10,280 units from 8,621 units a year ago, a company statement said in New Delhi.

The recently launched Honda Siel clocked a 36.1 per cent rise to 1,431 units.

The subsidiary of Japan's Honda Motor Company produces the mid-size car City at its plant outside Delhi and imports sports-utility-vehicle CR-V, launched in July this year, as completely-built-unit.
