Hindustan Motors launches LPG cars

Hindustan Motors Limited, a C K Birla group company, on Sunday launched the LPG version of its Ambassador for the taxi and private car segments in the country.

Executive vice-president of Hindustan Motors Ashwani Dubey said the company was the first automobile manufacturer to introduce LPG vehicles in the country.

The company organised a day-long workshop at the Uttarpara plant of HM, which was attended by mechanic, LPG dispensing operators and kit suppliers for familiarising the new auto fuel.

HM had already launched CNG cars in the National Capital Region in Delhi.
