"We will host the party with the biggest dance floor along the beach", said Kaushal Khanna, chairman, La Calypso Hotels Pvt Ltd.
The hotel has already started hosting parties since December 24 with people tapping their feet to the music of Bollywood's favourite DJs Aqueel, Piyush and others.
"Compared to other states, the beaches make Goa a favourite party destination. The state's carefree life and culture invites everyone here," Khanna added.
With the tourism department predicting 8 lakh tourists to visit the state during November-December, the hotels have geared up to welcome several celebrities, including Hollywood and Bollywood stars and politicians for the New Year eve bash.
But none of the hotels are ready to divulge their guest list, to ensure the guests' privacy. Those connected with the tourism industry said that the number of celebrations are on rise every year, with some hotels offering 'all night parties'. "Tourists flock to Goa because of its Latin flavour.
They feel they have come to another country", quipped internationally acclaimed fashion designer, Wendell Rodricks on the state's popularity as New Year destination.
This year, several big beach parties are planned, including Vijay Mallya's party on December 31. This would be the second big party hosted by Mallya in Goa this month, the first being on his birthday on December 18.
