The company's turnover is likely to reach Rs 100 crore (Rs 1 billion) in 2005-06 from the present Rs 65 crore (Rs 650 million).
The product is based on the technology provided by the company's US-based partner Texas Instruments.
"We will be able to bring RFID solutions at an affordable price for the Indian market," Ram Kumar, CEO of the Chennai-based company, said.
RFID is an automatic identification technology to obtain data/information about people, products, processes and places.
"The process of identification takes milliseconds and does not require line of sight," he said, adding Gemini is India's first RFID product manufacturer and design house.
The company has spent Rs 5 crore (Rs 50 million) in design, development, manufacture and marketing of these products.
