Anil's Big 92.7 FM to go on air on Sep 24

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group-controlled Adlabs' radio venture, Big 92.7 FM, is set to go on air on September 24 from Delhi.

Big 92.7 FM, which plans to reach 45 cities, 1,000 towns and 50,000 villages, will see the group making an investment of Rs 400 crore (Rs 4 billion) towards transmission equipment, infrastructure and licencing.

The radio venture promises to be the largest ever network.
 
It would have 1,000 employees nationwide and the network would cover 20 cities in the North, 7 cities in the East and 9 cities each in the West and South zones.

"It will be launched on September 24, with 12 celebrities supporting the launch day agenda --

'Sensitising Delhi towards Safety' ", a company release said.

"Through this endeavour, BIG 92.7 FM aims to provide a stage to Delhiites to stand up for their rights, share advice on safety and give their suggestions as to how the city can be made a safe and secure," BIG 92.7 FM Chief Operating Officer Tarun Katial said. 

Celebrities joining the cause include Neha Dhupia, Palash Sen, Isha Kopikkar, Akshay Kumar, Soha Ali Khan, Aman Ali among others.
