Domestic budget airline, SpiceJet, will introduce air services from Chennai to Port Blair and to Pune from the October 5, a top airline official said on Tuesday.
It would also start operating to Coimbatore from Chennai from October 25, Executive Chairman Siddhanta Sharma told a press conference in Chennai.
The airline will open its new base station at Chennai in November and two Boeing 737-800 aircraft would be stationed at the Chennai airport
The airline would also be starting a series of daily flights from Coimbatore to Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad soon.
