Buoyed by the successful launch of its first F-Bar and Lounge in Bangalore, Fashion TV India has firmed up an aggressive roll-out plan for other areas.
The company now plans to launch its first F Salon, a sophisticated beauty centre, at one of the metro cities by the end of this year.
The F-Salon chain, patterned on the lines of the F-Bar and Lounge, will be set up across the metros and mini-metros.
Besides Bangalore, the company has identified Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Chandigarh to set up its F Bars and the salons could also be located in the same cities, Ram Mirchandani, business head, Fashion TV India, said.
The company has also forayed into the bottled water segment with its F brand which would be targeted at the premium market segment.
"The rationale behind the bottled water foray is to target segments that want to make a fashion statement. The product will not be directed at the mass market," said Mirchandani.
Additionally, the company is in the process of tying up with a leading apparel manufacturer for the launch of its fashion clothing range.
It has also roped in a leading music company to partner it in its music business. While Mirchandani confirmed that the tie-ups were underway, he declined to divulge the names of the entities involved.
All the businesses would be based on the franchisee model with the company providing logistic and ancillary support to the franchise partners including selection of premises, guidance on design and interiors, sourcing of merchandise and other executional details.
The company would also conduct on- and off-air campaigns to support the enterprise at the launch and on an ongoing basis thereafter, said Mirchandani.
