Essar Telecom Retail to launch 2,500 outlets

Essar Telecom Retail Ltd will be introducing a pan-Indian network of retail telecom outlets called TheMobileStore, which will offer state-of-the-art technology in telecom solutions besides several value-added services.

The company plans to set up 2,500 outlets in 600 cities which will be India's first national chain of multi-brand and multi-service outlets, a statement issued here today said.

Besides a wide range of mobile phones, TheMobileStore will offer consumers across India a complete telecom solution, right from mobile phone purchase to the choice of service operators (both pre-paid and post-paid connections)

and services like bill collections, handset exchange, etc.

The stores will also offer mobile accessories and value-added services including the latest ring tones, wallpapers and games and prompt handset repair services.

Forty stores have been launched and are serving customers across Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
