Anil approached the ministry of company affairs on Monday after the Delhi high court ordered a "status quo" in the EHIRC deal till November 22, sources said.

In a representation to the ministry, in which he has alleged irregularities in the deal, Anil has requested the ministry to take appropriate action in the matter in the interest of the public.

The ministry is looking into the matter, sources said. When contacted, Anil refused to say anything since the matter was under investigation. Rajan Nanda also declined to comment, saying only the court can deal with the issue.
