DTDC launches special scheme for delivery of rakhis

Courier company DTDC has launched a special scheme for delivery of 'rakhis' both within and outside the country.

As a part of the scheme, all rakhis would be packed in specially designed pouches so that customers' shipments can be easily identified and delivery can be expedited, the company said.

The company would also offer discount coupons of up to Rs 100 on rakhis sent to international locations, it said.

"DTDC has designed an exclusive rakhi

box which is available at its counters. Customers can purchase and send their rakhis from any counter at one go and avail additional discount coupon for purchasing the box," it said, adding customers can also book their rakhis online.

"We are sensitive to the fact that customers demand the best in speed and safety, when dispatching these wishes and gifts across distances," DTDC Courier & Cargo executive director Abhishek Chakraborty said.

DTDC handles 10 million consignments every month and serves over 240 international destinations.
