Walt Disney CEO meets PM

Walt Disney CEO Michael Eisner, who is in India on an official visit, on Tuesday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The meeting lasted for about 15 minutes. Eisner, along with Robert Iger, president and chief operating officer of Walt Disney, had on Monday met President APJ Abdul Kalam and some business leaders.

Walt Disney company has identified India as a potential growth market and is currently has two channels Disney channel and Toon Disney on air, launched in December 2004, a release said.

Apart from the kids' channels, Disney-owned ESPN and its partner STAR Sports offer sports programming in India.
